Atteridgeville, Pretoria
Stage Audio Works (SAW) delivered a complete AV installation for the Uniting Reformed Church in Southern Africa (URCSA) at its Atteridgeville campus. The project, entirely funded by member donations, focused on creating a welcoming, purpose-built space for worship, community events, and outreach programmes. SAW’s collaboration with URCSA was central to designing a customised audio, video, lighting, and live-streaming solution that reflects the church’s vision.
The setup features a tailored Plus Audio distributed sound system controlled by a Yamaha TF3 digital mixer, HD projectors, a combination of Cameo and Stage Plus dynamic stage lighting, and Sennheiser EW-D wireless microphones, providing reliable communication and greater freedom for on-stage speakers and performers. This setup enhances worship experiences and reaches remote congregants through seamless live streaming.
Additional key elements include focused speaker placements for balanced audio, remote-controlled cameras for simplified streaming, and user-friendly technology for URCSA’s volunteer team. SAW also provided training to ensure long-term efficiency and ease of use. Both SAW and URCSA are proud of the result – a high-quality, cost-effective system that brings clarity and immersion to worship while honouring the congregation’s generosity.
